I’ve always loved the Christmas season since my mother began creating memories as a young child. The nativity scene, her baking, and our beautiful trees always seemed a little bit like magic. As I grew into adulthood, I’ve kept that magic as part of my life.
When I started going gray and getting round, my family started calling me Santa and suggested it might be a good fit. In late 2011, I watched “ Becoming Santa,” the story of Jack Sanderson’s evolution and adventures in putting on the Red Suit. I began my research, sought training, and became Santa for the first time in 2012.

I began telling stories to general audiences in 1999. My years of practice have sharpened my ability to create captivating visuals in your mind, inspiring awe in kids and adults alike with folktales and traditional stories. Even in the Television Age, a well-told story will guide you through the highs and lows of its hero and bring you safely home.
When I began portraying Santa, I used my skills to bring the character to life and make it believable for the kids. Regardless of the size of your group, Santa Jim’s seasonal stories will bring you joy and make your holiday season merry.
